SMS, browser trial, bKash
Text messages now reach the patient's phone and cost 75 poisha a part including VAT, a full prescription can be written in the browser with nothing to install, payment by bKash Send Money is in, and on the printed sheet the QR is bigger and the strength no longer prints twice.
Prescribing
- The QR square on the printed prescription is now bigger and printed in navy and teal, so a phone reads it held at arm's length.
- The medicine suggestion list is no longer cut off part-way — it fits the space under the field and opens upwards when there is more room above.
- The strength no longer prints twice — on the sheet and on the patient's page "Seclo 20 20 mg" now reads "Seclo 20 mg".
Security and licensing
- Text messages to patients now travel over an encrypted connection, so the number and wording can't be read in transit, and delivery reports carry our own name.
Around the app
- A stray line of developer text that was showing in the footer of every signed-in page is gone.
Support
- You can now answer a support ticket just by replying to the email, and your reply appears in the ticket thread with the quoted part trimmed off.
Trying it out
- You can now open the software in your browser from the site and write a full prescription — allergy check and printed sheet included — with nothing to install and nothing saved.
- The Desk tab in the browser demo no longer opens blank — it shows an evening of three serials — and on a phone the demo now shows the desktop screen scaled to fit and pinch-zoomable.
- The browser demo now brings its own Bangla and Latin type, so the text shows in the right face and button labels sit centred.
- Switching the demo to Bangla now also changes the bar along the bottom, including its two links.
- The trial email now carries a licence key — paste it under Doctor & chambers → Licence and the full medicine list opens; the other trial limits stay as they were.
Text messages
- An SMS the gateway refuses now shows as failed with the reason instead of counting as sent, and the id a delivery report is looked up by is kept correctly.
- Text messages now actually reach the patient's phone — before, some were reported as sent but never arrived.
- Sending one message to everyone waiting now reaches each number separately — before, the numbers were run together and the message failed.
- Text messages now cost 75 poisha a part including VAT — 1,000 parts for ৳750, 3,000 for ৳2,250, 10,000 for ৳7,500, the same rate in every pack.
Paying
- You can now pay by bKash Send Money — send the amount to the number on your order page and give the transaction id; we check it and switch you on.
- You can set up your own bKash merchant account from the chambers screen, and press check to see whether the details work and whether they are sandbox or live.
- The note under the Send Money number now shows on the order page, and in dark mode text you type into a field is no longer white on white.
- An order for a text message top-up now says how many message parts you are buying, instead of just "Licence —".
Backups
- Backing up to Google Drive now works by pressing Connect to Drive — nothing to type in first, and the connection no longer fails right after you approve it.
When the update period ends the software does not stop: the version you have keeps working for good. The drug register arrives separately, so newly registered medicines keep reaching you either way.
