Queue, Referrals and Dose Reminders
The File/Edit/View/Window/Help menu no longer sits above the prescription pad while copy-paste shortcuts work as before, a walk-in can type the desk's serial number into the waiting board to see their turn on a board that keeps updating, referral letters now search sixty specialities or take your own with ready reason phrasings alongside your past referrals, patients opening the prescription link can load dose times into the phone calendar or read them out to set their own alarms, and the software checks for a new version at startup and every few hours without offering one you already have.
Around the app
- The File / Edit / View / Window / Help menu no longer sits above the prescription pad, and copy-paste shortcuts still work as before.
The desk and the queue
- A walk-in can type the serial number from the desk into the waiting board to see when their turn is, and the board now keeps updating instead of freezing.
Updates
- Checks for a new version each time you open the software, and again every few hours while it stays open; a version you already have is no longer offered.
Referral letters
- On the referral letter you can now search sixty specialities or type your own, and the reason line offers ready phrasings along with your own past referrals.
The patient's page
- A patient opening the prescription link can now load the dose times into the phone's calendar, or see the times listed out to set alarms himself.
When the update period ends the software does not stop: the version you have keeps working for good. The drug register arrives separately, so newly registered medicines keep reaching you either way.
