How the licence works

The Machine ID, entering your key, changing computers, and what happens with no internet.

A licence is a signed file, bound to your computer and verified offline. So you are never stopped in the middle of a chamber by “could not verify your licence”.

Where to find the Machine ID

Open Nirnoy Rx.
Go to the Doctor & chambers tab.
In the licence box there is something like A1B2-C3D4-E5F6-7890 — that is the Machine ID.

Entering your licence key

Copy the whole key from the email — beginning to end, line breaks and all.
Paste it into the licence box under Doctor & chambers and save.
If there is a connection at that moment, the full drug register opens too.

If it says the licence is not right, nearly always part of the key did not come across. Copy the whole thing again.

Changing computers

A licence names one computer, so it will not work on a new one — that is expected. Open a ticket with the new Machine ID and a fresh key is sent, at no charge. You may run it on as many computers at once as your package says.

The occasional check

When there is a connection the software checks in with us about once a week — to see whether new medicines have arrived, and to say the licence is well. If more than three months pass with no contact, new medicines, online serials and the AI pause. Writing prescriptions never stops, and one moment on the internet puts everything back.
