Version 1.5.5

Doses in their own units

Sprays, inhalers, nebulisers and insulin are now counted in their own units with a starting dose for the patient's age, medicines are searched in the line itself, short forms find the diagnosis, and a new setting prints dosing, notes and advice in Bangla on an English prescription.

Prescribing

  • Sprays, inhalers, nebulisers and insulin are now counted in their own units — sprays, puffs, units — with a starting dose for the patient's age.
  • Medicines are now searched in the line itself, with the list across the full width of the line; a name the list does not know is kept as typed.
  • Nasal, under-the-tongue and skin sprays now go where they belong, and doses print with their unit — "1 spray", "2 puffs"; insulin is written in U.
  • The note under a medicine suggests phrases as you type, that medicine's own instructions first — dissolved in water, with milk, and so on.
  • Typing a short form (IHD, CKD, AF) finds the diagnosis, which is written as "full name (short form)"; the treatment plan gains 50 lines, bypass, stenting, angiogram and dialysis among them.
  • What you have chosen now sits at the top of each field; medicines, advice and the treatment plan each have their own colour; the lab report notes show when the section is opened.

Settings

  • A new setting prints how to take each medicine, its notes and the advice in Bangla on an otherwise English prescription.

When the update period ends the software does not stop: the version you have keeps working for good. The drug register arrives separately, so newly registered medicines keep reaching you either way.
