Version 2.4.0

Centre, counter and lab

Alongside prescriptions, this release brings the centre's doctor serials and counter billing, lab results, analyzers and reports sent by SMS, stock, purchasing and equipment, staff attendance and payroll, referral commission, and the centre's accounts with VAT and Mushak-9.1, loans and fixed deposits.

Around the app

  • Tapping a notice in the bell or on your phone now opens the exact leave request, pay run, payslip, purchase order, equipment job or alert, scrolled to and highlighted.

The desk and the queue

  • A centre can now keep its doctors, their sittings and fees, book serials at the desk or online, and mark who arrived, was seen or did not come.
  • If the centre turns it on, the desk bills a doctor's visit fee as an invoice, keeps each doctor's share in the accounts to pay out, and texts the patient their number.

Settings

  • You can set the prescription header like your own pad: degrees one a line, your own lines, Bangla and English side by side, the BMDC number where you want it, and the chamber or diagnostic centre at the foot of the page.

Text messages

  • Management alerts now go by SMS to up to five mobiles — drawer short, big discount, stock low — plus the day's collection summary each night if you want it.

The centre's accounts

  • The monthly VAT return, Mushak-9.1, is now built from your sales, purchases, source deductions and debit and credit notes, with the rest typed in, and prints with its sub-forms in Bangla or English.
  • You can now keep bank loans and fixed deposits in the accounts — instalment schedules, daily interest on cash credit and overdraft, rate changes, prepayments, and FDR interest, tax and maturity.

Lab reports

  • Prints the approved test report with each doctor's signature and a QR, and texts the patient a private link to it — or that it is ready to collect.
  • Results are typed with each value marked against the lab's own range, approved and signed by a named doctor, then handed over at the counter in print or by SMS.

Numbers and reports

  • Facility reports on collections, dues, discounts and stock, alerts when a drawer is short or stock expires, and a nightly check that closes the day.
  • Each invoice now records and prints who referred the patient, and reports gain a Doctors section with their appointments, fees and the tests they referred.
  • The referral commission report now sits at the end of the doctors' report list, after the others.

Invoices and payments

  • A test invoice can be part paid at registration and the rest at delivery, each payment with its own receipt, and the numbered invoice prints with a barcode.
  • Invoices and receipts now carry a QR beside the barcode: scanning it shows whether the invoice is genuine, its date, total, payments and what is still due, with the patient by initials only.
  • Each test, package and consultation fee now carries its own VAT class — exempt, or VAT inside the price with nothing added on top — and the invoice shows it.

Facility staff

  • Facility staff can sign in from a browser on the facility's network, and each action is allowed only if their role permits it.
  • If the copy runs as a facility, a new Facility tab and a separate staff sign-in: counter invoices and delivery, closing the counter, accounts, stock, and people with roles.
  • The facility now has a reports tab with charts and Excel download, an alerts tab, and a night-close screen, all readable in Bangla down to item and counter names on invoices.
  • Attendance machines send punches to the centre, or bring them by USB or by hand; employees, shifts, holidays, today's board and the month's register.
  • Set each employee's pay structure and the month's pay is worked out from attendance — absence, lateness, overtime, provident fund, tax and advances — then approved, paid, with bonus runs and payslips in Bangla or English.
  • Leave is counted in working days and goes onto the attendance once somebody else approves it, with training records, performance reviews and each employee's own page.
  • Staff can install the app on phones and computers and get notices for leave, pay, payslips, purchase orders, equipment faults and alerts in the bell and on the device, each kind able to be turned off.

Diagnostic tests

  • Keeps a list of tests and packages with their price, room, sample tube and preparation, and registers a patient at the counter with one invoice and a barcoded slip for each room.
  • Scanning the patient's slip prints a barcode label for each tube, the lab receives or rejects a sample with a reason, and imaging tests go to a named doctor.
  • Test results go in against your lab's own reference ranges, are flagged low, high or abnormal, and a doctor approves and signs before the report is handed over.
  • Lab analyzers can be connected over the network: values arrive against the right tube and test, and a person accepts them into the report or rejects them with a reason.
  • Lab analyzers can be set up and connected, their codes mapped to your own tests, and the values they send accepted into a result or turned down.
  • Analyzers can now be connected straight over a serial (RS-232) cable, and ready-made settings for Sysmex XN, Roche cobas e 411 and Mindray BC/BS fill the form for you.
  • Mindray BS chemistry analyzers can now ask which tests a tube needs and are told; their QC and calibration runs stay out of patients' results.
  • Abbott ARCHITECT can now be added from a ready setup that answers its question about a tube with that tube's tests, keeps control runs out of results, and says why a connection failed in your own language.
  • A finished result now notifies its approver, and the counter is told when every test on an invoice is approved or a handed-over report is amended — tapping the notice opens that test or invoice, without the patient's name.

The public doctor directory

  • Your centre's doctors now have a public page where patients book a number and cancel from their own link, with each doctor setting their own cancel window.
  • Patients can book a real number from the centre's directory while its computer is off; the bookings go into the list when it is back, and the desk is told if a number had to move.

The centre you sit at

  • Link a chamber to the Nirnoy Rx centre it sits in: the centre takes the fees at its counter, and sees that chamber's totals if you allow it.

Stock and stores

  • The medicine shop and the food shop keep separate stock, each valued on its own line, and a batch that has run out is no longer offered for sale or transfer.
  • You can now keep suppliers, raise a purchase order for each store, approve it, receive the goods, send some back and pay, with the order, receipt and voucher printing in Bangla or English.
  • Goods receipts now take the supplier's VAT challan and its VAT, set off or added to the cost as you choose, with a purchase register and a monthly VAT report.

Equipment and assets

  • The centre can now register each piece of equipment — where it is, who holds it, month-by-month depreciation, disposal, and barcode tags to print — with a new maintenance engineer role.
  • Anyone can report a broken machine by its tag, and the engineer works the job through with parts, the vendor's bill, service plans and contracts.

The shop counter

  • Medicine shop and food shop counters sell at the price set on the item, earliest expiry first and never past it, print a thermal cash memo, and take returns back into the same lot.
  • The administrator sets VAT classes once; shop memos print the BIN and the VAT inside the price, and a VAT sales register is there for the monthly return.

Referral commission

  • Keeps in-house and outside referring doctors with commission rules; the counter shows each commission and it is owed once the invoice is paid in full.
  • You can add a whole list of outside referring doctors at once, pasted from a spreadsheet or from a CSV file with BMDC numbers; anyone already on the list is left as they are.

When the update period ends the software does not stop: the version you have keeps working for good. The drug register arrives separately, so newly registered medicines keep reaching you either way.
