Version 2.15.38

Live bedside monitors, partner centres and a PACS link

Wards see every patient's signs live from the bedside monitors, with critical readings sent to the doctor and nurse on duty. Collection centres can send tests under their own contract and get reports in bulk, imaging orders and reports reach the PACS, and certificates print on one page.

Hospital

  • Death and birth certificates laid out afresh, always on one A4 page, with Part I's column headings. Test registration shows the patient as a card, the tests as a table and the bill beside them. Lab reports put each test on a card with H/L tags and the patient on every page. Ward settings get subtabs, and the bed board a filter bar.
  • A Monitoring board by unit with each patient's signs, live from bedside monitors where connected (Mindray, Philips, Nihon Kohden, Edan, Comen, other HL7), with a sound and a push to the duty doctor and nurse on a critical reading. The stay shows critical information and a no-CPR decision. Dying declarations are recorded with the voice and sealed.
  • Partner centres: a collection point can send its patients' tests under a contract with its own prices and way of paying (monthly with a minimum, in advance, or per batch). Reports go to its authorised people in bulk, printed, emailed, or from its own page with a code, and wait while its account is not in order.
  • Imaging links to a PACS (such as Philips Vue PACS): orders reach its worklist with an accession number, cancellations follow, and approved reports go beside the images. Philips bedside monitors are now read exactly as Philips' own HL7 guide gives, and a monitor in demo or service mode is never shown as a patient's readings.

When the update period ends the software does not stop: the version you have keeps working for good. The drug register arrives separately, so newly registered medicines keep reaching you either way.
