Turning the assistant on, and paying for it

Two ways to pay — your own API key, or credits bought from us. What each costs, and where the running total is.

Nirnoy Rx works completely with the assistant switched off. Turning it on takes away typing — reading a lab report, tidying the notes, shortening a history. There are two ways to pay for it.

The first way: your own API key

Open an account with Anthropic, take a key, and paste it in. Then you pay us nothing — they bill your card directly, and none of your traffic passes through our servers. If you have a card that works in dollars, this is the cheaper road.

Go to Doctor & chambers.
In the assistant section choose your own key.
Paste the key and save. It is kept encrypted on your own machine.

The second way: credits from us

If you do not have a card that works in dollars — which is most doctors here — buy credits from us instead. You pay in taka, by bKash or card. Calls then go to the model through our server, and your licence is the credential: there is no separate key to keep safe.

One credit is one taka. Most jobs cost well under one, so the balance is counted in hundredths and shown to you in credits. A typical job is one to five taka; reading a lab report is about two to five. Five hundred credits usually covers well over a hundred jobs.

Put your Machine ID in the form — it is on the app’s licence screen. The credits land on that licence.
Pay by bKash or card. Once it lands, choose credits in the app and it works.

Buying credits before the licence is entered is fine — they are credited the first time the app checks in with us afterwards. You do not have to do anything.

Where the running total is

Beside every AI button is what it is likely to cost, before you press it. What it actually cost is recorded in the software afterwards — which job, when, how much. On credits, what is left is on the same screen.

When credits run out the AI buttons say so in a sentence rather than quietly failing. Everything else in the software carries on as before.

Which to choose

You have a dollar card and do not mind keeping an account — use your own key, it costs less.
You want to pay in taka with no fuss — take credits. Our margin is added; in return there is no card and no account to manage.
Neither — leave the assistant off. Prescriptions, patient files, the desk and backup all work without it.
