Who does the work at each step, and what the software does. Press a step to stop on it.
- 1 A pass issued Admission desk An attendant’s pass for the stay, a visitor’s for the day.
- 2 Scanned at the gate Security QR or card; who they are visiting, in which bed — in large type.
- 3 Outside the rules By itself Outside visiting hours, revoked, or the patient discharged — no, with the reason.
- 4 The card back Security Handed back on the way out; lost, it is fined or waived with the reason.
The pass desk
Find the patient, issue the pass, print it
Find the admitted patient by name, ID or admission number and issue a pass with the attendant’s or visitor’s name, relation and phone. No more attendants than the hospital allows.
- The QR carries only a random code — nothing about the patient
- A lost card’s fine on the bill, or waived with the reason
