Setting up the centre

The system on one computer, everybody else in a browser over the network — departments, rooms, counters and stores laid out.

The diagnostic centre edition runs on one computer of the centre’s own. Staff sign in as themselves from a browser on any computer or phone on the centre’s network. The internet is needed only for text messages, online serials and phone notices.

The first layout

1. On the main computer open Nirnoy Rx and in Setup give the centre’s name (Bangla and English), address and phone.
2. Add the departments (reception, pathology, imaging…) and each department’s rooms.
3. Add the counters and the stores (main store, pharmacy, the lab’s reagents…).
4. In People add each member of staff with their role. They choose their own password at their first sign-in.

The address staff go to is shown on the Setup screen. The first time a phone opens it, the phone learns the centre’s own certificate; after that it can be kept on the home screen like an app.
