Moving from your old software
Patients and their history, prices, staff, stock, dues and admitted patients — from Excel or CSV, checked, and undoable.
An administrator brings the old software’s data across under Moving to Nirnoy Rx, in ten steps. Each step has a blank Excel template; the old software’s own export works too.
- Go in order: patients, their history, tests and prices, parameters, referring doctors, staff, suppliers, opening stock, dues, patients still admitted.
- Choose the file (.xlsx, CSV). Which column is which is matched from the headings — change any that are wrong.
- Check every row — what will come, what is already here, what cannot, by row number and reason. Nothing is saved yet.
- Bring in. Staff start passwords are shown once — print them and hand each person theirs.
- If something is wrong, Undo within a week — as long as nothing in it has been used since.
- Before switching the old software off, set Where things stand beside its own totals.
The old history shows on the patient’s file marked “From the previous software”, read-only, and never reaches today’s accounts or reports. A patient still admitted keeps their admission day; bed nights are charged from the move.
If the old software cannot export to Excel, see the database conversion service.
