Getting started
Setting up the centre
The system on one computer, everybody else in a browser over the network — departments, rooms, counters and stores laid out.
Staff, roles and signing in
Everybody as themselves, doing only what their role allows — limited by department, hours or amount where needed.
Day to day
The counter and invoices
Opening a shift, invoicing tests, taking money — cash, card, bKash or split — and squaring up at the end of the day.
Tests, packages and prices
Each test’s price, room, sample tube and reference ranges — the centre’s own.
Samples and tube labels
Taking samples by scanning the slip, a barcode label on each tube, received in the lab or turned back with a reason.
Results, approval and the report
Typing the values, a doctor’s approval and signature, the report printed or texted as a link — and which reports are running late.
Home sample collection
Booked with the address and the tests, given to a collector, collected at the door, billed at the counter when the tubes arrive.
Doctors, serials and calling patients in
Doctors’ days and fees, serials at the desk and online, and the next patient on the waiting room’s television.
The patient card
A card with photo, QR and NFC chip — the patient’s ID at every desk, and the emergency details on one page.
Stores and accounts
Pharmacy, stores and purchasing
Stock with lots and expiry, earliest expiry first, purchase orders through to payment, and the equipment register.
Accounts, VAT and payroll
Every taka on both sides, Mushak-9.1 prepared at the month’s end, and pay from the staff’s attendance.
Printers and print stations
Each paper on its own printer — the counter’s roll, the lab’s labels, a ward’s A4 — by a button or by itself.
