The takings
Two chambers, one book
What each chamber took, what its centre kept, what is still owed — and taking your own list to your other machine.
Put the centre’s share (%) in when you add a chamber. After that every fee is worked out for you.
What each chamber owes
- On the Numbers screen, look for What each chamber owes — by chamber, by month.
- When a centre pays, press They paid on that row and put in the amount and the day you received it.
- The Outstanding column is the answer to the real question.
A centre that pays part of a month mid-month is normal — record it as many times as you like and the outstanding figure adds up. A payment typed wrongly can be removed.
Your list on your other machine
With a computer in each of two chambers, you do not have to set your own medicine list, templates and print setup up twice. Under Doctor & chambers → Your list on your other machine, save a file and open it on the other one.
The file holds no patients, no visits, no prescriptions and no money — it cannot hold them. And bringing one in deletes nothing: a medicine already on this machine keeps the dose you gave it there.
This is not a backup. For a copy of the whole practice, see Backing up.
