The postgraduate logbook
A case log for a doctor training for FCPS, MD or MS — gathered from your own prescriptions, without who the patients were, exported in one press.
With the logbook on, Nirnoy Rx gathers a case from each prescription you issue and each procedure note you write — by diagnosis and by procedure. There is nothing to type twice.
Turning it on
- Open Reports, then Postgraduate logbook.
- Write your programme (FCPS, MD, MS…), subject, institute and supervisor.
- Give the day your training began — cases are gathered from that day.
Putting a case right, and adding one
- Press Change on any case to set your role (managed, performed, assisted, observed…), the setting or a note. A case you changed is not changed again by later gathering.
- Leave out of the log any case you do not want in it — it is not deleted, and can be put back.
- Add a case seen elsewhere, or a procedure watched, with Add a case by hand.
Exporting it
Spreadsheet (CSV) gives every case in one file; Print the log prints the totals by setting, diagnosis and procedure and then every case, with a line for your supervisor’s signature — in Bangla or English.
No patient’s name, phone or ID is in the log. Only the date, the age, the sex and a case code — the same code for the same patient, with no way back to who it was.
