The AI scribe
With the patient’s agreement, the whole consultation drafted into the record — you check every box before it goes in.
The AI scribe listens to the whole conversation of a consultation and drafts the boxes of the prescription — complaints, history, examination, diagnosis, investigations, advice. It writes nothing that was not said, and says what was unclear.
Turning it on
- In Doctor & chambers, in the AI section, tick Use the AI scribe in my consultations.
- The AI must be on — your own key or credits (see Turning the AI on).
In a consultation
- On the prescription press Listen to the consultation (AI scribe).
- Tell the patient and ask their agreement, and tick that they agreed — it does not start without it.
- Press Stop when you are done. Read what was written down and correct anything misheard.
- Draft the record shows the cost first; then it drafts.
- Read every box, untick what should not go in, then add — it goes under what is already written, never over it.
Medicines never go onto the prescription as lines. The ones that were said are listed beside it — add each yourself from the medicine picker.
The recording is not kept, and the patient’s name is never sent. A draft usually takes 2 to 4 credits; the screen says before you press.
