The doctor’s app · Prescribing
The whole prescription by voice
Move between boxes by name, medicines with their instructions, vitals, and print — confirmed twice.
Press Speak the whole note on the left of the pad, or just above the prescription on the preview. What you say is written in the box you are in; a box’s name said by itself goes there — “complaints”, “on examination”, “diagnosis”, “investigations”, “medicine”, “advice”, “plan”. Several in one breath works too: “complaints fever 3 days diagnosis viral fever advice plenty of fluids”.
“Next box”, “previous box”, “new line”, “undo” and “stop” do what they say. Each new line written in English starts with a capital letter.
Vital signs
From any box, “BP 120 by 80 pulse 88 temperature 99 weight 62” goes into the pad’s vital-sign boxes. The pad has no boxes for SpO2, breathing rate, sugar or GCS, so those go on one line under On examination (“SpO2 97%, RR 20/min”). A number that cannot be right is not written, and you are told.
Medicines
Say “medicine”, then each medicine with its instruction — “Napa 500 three times daily after food”. The matches show in the medicine bar: press one, or say “next medicine” to take the likely one and be ready for the next. A name only guessed from its sound is never taken by itself.
Printing
Saying “print” stops listening and opens the preview. Read the prescription, press It is right, then Print now: nothing prints without those two presses, and serious warnings are still asked about after them.
