Follow-ups and reminders
Who you asked back and when, reminding them the evening before, and who actually came.
Put a date in Next visit at the foot of a prescription and that patient joins the follow-up list. The desk screen shows everybody expected back tomorrow.
Reminding them
There are two roads, and both wait for you to press something — no message goes by itself.
- From the assistant’s phone. In the desk app’s follow-up tab there is a button beside each name; it opens the phone’s messaging app with the words filled in. It costs nothing.
- Through the gateway. The whole list at once from the computer — how many and for how much is written on the button before you press it.
Somebody who has already come back is not chased, and nobody is messaged twice about the same follow-up.
Who came back
Above the list it says how many were asked back last month and how many came — and whether the reminded came back more often than the rest. That is your own evidence for whether the money is doing anything.
