Lab reports from a centre, in your own app
Reports from the centre or hospital you send tests to, straight into the patient’s file — linking, how reports arrive, offline, and the relay mailbox.
At a diagnostic centre or hospital that runs Nirnoy Rx, the reports of the tests you ordered come into your app by themselves once approved and paid — if the patient agreed. Whether you sit there (one of the centre’s own doctors) or only send patients from outside — for an outside doctor, only if the centre has switched that on.
Linking, once
- Ask the centre for a link. They make it beside your name on their Doctors page; it works once, for seven days.
- In Nirnoy Rx open Doctor & chambers and choose the chamber at that centre (add the chamber first if it is not there).
- Paste the link exactly under A Nirnoy Rx centre, choose what to share, leave Receive the lab reports of tests I referred here on, and press Link to the centre.
When you link, your app and the centre make a key between them that is never sent anywhere. Every report comes locked under it — the relay in between cannot read it. If you linked before version 2.17, the chamber says Link again for reports: ask the centre for a new link and put it in again.
How reports arrive
- While the app is open and online it asks the centre every ten minutes, and at once when you press Check now on the chamber. When it last asked is written there.
- Each time it looks first in the centre’s relay mailbox: the centre leaves every report there too, locked, so reports come even while the centre’s computer is off or offline. Once taken, they are deleted from the mailbox.
- Each report goes into your patient’s file by mobile and name. Where it is not sure — a shared mobile, a name written differently, nobody on file — the report waits at the top of the Lab reports page (Lab reports from centres: whose are they?). Choose the right patient, make a new one, or put it aside.
- A report that comes both ways is kept once. A corrected report takes the earlier one’s place.
Opening a report
- What is outside the report’s own range, what changed since the last one, and which figures bear on the patient’s current medicines — free, by rule.
- Read with AI is optional — it costs credits, shows the price first, and what it writes is a draft.
- Your decision: No visit needed — write a prescription from the report and send the patient a link; Needs a visit — ask the patient to come. If you charge a review fee, the prescription opens once it is paid.
Offline
- With your app offline nothing is lost: reports wait at the centre and in the mailbox, and all come the next time you are online.
- What has come is on your own computer: it opens, and can be reviewed and prescribed from, with no internet.
- A report stays in the mailbox for 14 days; if not taken by then the centre leaves it again, and it stays at the centre until it arrives.
When a report does not come
- Ask the centre whether the patient agreed, and whether the tests were written under your name, approved and fully paid.
- For an outside doctor: whether the centre has switched on reports to outside doctors.
- Press Check now. Even when it says the centre cannot be reached just now, reports in the mailbox still come; new ones come once the centre is online.
- If it says the centre has ended this link, ask the centre for a new one.
No patient’s details go from you to the centre. If you choose, the centre tells you only the number of your patients’ tests there and the amounts paid — never commission.
